• Open the FileMaker Software.
• Click on File on the Menu Bar and select “Open Remote”.
• Select “Favorite Hosts” from the View drop down menu and click on “Add” button under the “Hosts” box.
• Type the server address (see above) in the Host’s Internet Address field.
• Type server name in the Favorite Host’s Name field.
• (Optional) Under File Settings select the “Show only these files” radio button then type the database name into the box below.
• Click the Save button.
• Click on the Host name and the database will appear in the Available Files box on the right.
• Double click on the database name to open.
